First things first, what is it? Green tea is made from Camellia sinensis leaves. They undergo a process of withering and oxidization and the types of green tea vary depending on their growing conditions. The reason it has so many health benefits is due to the fermentation process being avoided. As a result, green tea retains its maximum amount of antioxidants.
