Our 5 Favourite Wellness Tips

Is it just us or does September have some serious new year vibes? Whether you’re starting a new year of school or not, September always has us feeling like a new beginning and turning over a new leaf. This year we’re focusing on wellness in all its forms. To kick it off we want to share our 5 favourite wellness tips so you can jump on the feel-good train with us. Enjoy!

  1. Spend Time With Your Favourite People

Surrounding yourself with people who make you feel good was also #1 on our Summer Self-Care list and for good reason. Spending time with the friends and family you love has such a positive impact on your mood, your motivation and your overall outlook on life. Make time for your favourite people, even if it’s just an hour for lunch! You won’t regret it.

  1. Stretching & Yoga

We’ve written about the benefits of yoga before and we still stand by them. It improves posture, relieves stress and helps you sleep more soundly. If you’re brand new to yoga start off with some basic stretching and work your way up – it’s definitely worth it.

  1. Skincare

We know we’re super biased with this one but maintaining a skincare routine that works for your skin and your schedule can be a really great way to practice self-care. Not only does it keep your skin looking fantastic, it gives you a routine that will add some structure to your busy days.

  1. Disconnect

This one was also on our Summer Self-Care list and we still love it. Even though it’s not always feasible to step away from screens for long periods of time, it’s super important to give yourself an opportunity to disconnect. Try setting your phone aside for smaller things like while you’re making dinner or while you workout. It really is shocking how quickly you can cleanse yourself of the digital world.

  1. Eat!

We’re not here to tell you how to adjust your diet, we’re just here to tell you to eat and to enjoy it. Sometimes you’d die for a green smoothie and other times you just need a cookie. Listen to what your body needs and feed it what it’s asking for. Love your body and it will love you back.
